TX-HYB
Serum-free medium is a chemically defined culture medium supporting the
serum-free growth of various hybridomas and 293 cells. The compounds of
TX-HYB medium include water for injection, a modified DMEM/F12 base, HEPES
buffer, known amounts of insulin, transferin, testosterone, sodium selenite,
ethanolamine, a variety of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, and
proprietary stabilizing proteins. TX-HYB medium contains no bovine serum
albumine or other undefined protein mixtures.
Storage conditions
The medium
can be stored at 2°C – 8°C for at least 3 months.
Expiry date
The expiry
date is marked on the bottles. Do not use anymore the medium when you notice
a significant change in pH and color.
The
appearance of slight precipitates or little particles in the solution will
not harm the effect of the product. Do not use anymore the medium when big
precipitates will appear or when the solution looks troubled.
Be aware
that not indicated supplemented products can change the storage conditions
and expiry date.
Production and quality controls
There is no
need to test the medium before use. All compounds and the complete medium
are tested in advance by our company:
