SeeplexTM system is Seegene’s Pathogen testing products based on multiplex PCR system. The SeeplexTM products are clearly different from other such products by applying dual specific oligonucleotide (DSOTM) technology. The DSOTM produces greatly improved specificity without any false positive, and thereby allows SeeplexTM system to be the most accurate, rapid and cost effective method in 1) genetics & pharmacogenetics, 2) infectious disease, and 3) oncology & chromosomal analysis. [ SeeplexTM  system process ] 1. High sensitivity Because Seegene's DSOTM technology enhances the sensitivity of the multiplex PCR excellently, it is possible to detect minimum amount of virus in the sample. A small amount of pathogen (101) can be detected within a short period of time (about 5 hours). 2. High Specificity Because Seegene's DSOTM technology enhances the Specificity of the multiplex PCR, it is possible to detect only the targeted bands without any non-specific bands. DSOTM employed in the SeeplexTM series produces dramatically improved specificity without any false product.   3. Multi Detection Multiplex PCR system which simultaneously detect more than one disease marker allows economical and rapid identification. 4. Internal Control Internal control embedded in the product prevents misjudgments possibly arising erroneous PCR test. 5. DSOTM-specific DNA Polymerase DSOTM-specific DNA polymerase used in the product was optimized for the specificity and sensitivity of DSOTM-based multiplex PCR reaction. 6. Contamination Prevention System One time PCR reduces the carryover risk, and the inclusion of 8-MOP reduces the PCR contamination risk. 7. Amplicon Size Marker A marker, comprising bands with a size equal to the output of PCR, makes it easier to analyze the result.
