| Formulation |
The sterile filtered solution was lyophilized from 5mM
Sodium Citrate, pH 4.0. |
| Reconstitution |
We recommend a quick
spin followed by reconstitution in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0mg/mL.
This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4
degree Celsius for 1 week or -20 degree Celsius for future use. |
| Storage |
The lyophilized
protein is stable for a few weeks at room temperature, but best stored at
-20 degree Celsius. Reconstituted G-CSF should be stored in working aliquots
at -20 degree Celsius. |
| Purity |
Greater than 98% by
SDS-PAGE and HPLC analyses. |
| Biological
Activity |
The ED50
was determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of
mouse M-NSF-60 cells is <= 0.1 ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity
of >= 1 x 10^7 units/mg |
| Description |
Granulocyte Colony
Stimulating Factor (G-CSF) is a potent stimulator of bone marrow cells
especially those of neutrophil lineage. In addition, G-CSF can enhance the
survival and activate the immunological functions of mature neutrophils.
Human G-CSF is a 18.7 kDa protein containing 174 amino acid residues. |
| Endotoxin |
Endotoxin level is
less than 0.1 ng/μg (1EU/μg). |
