| Reconstitution |
The biotinylated
antibody should be reconstituted to a concentration of 50 μg/mL with sterile
PBS solution containing 0.1% BSA. This solution can be stored at 4 degree
Celsius for at least one month without detectable loss of activity. Frozen
aliquots of this solution are stable for at least six months when kept at
-20 degree Celsius. Avoid more than one freeze-thaw cycle |

| Preparation |
Produced from sera of
rabbits pre-immunized with highly pure (greater than 98%) recombinant hOPG (human
osteoprotegerin). Anti-hOPG specific antibody was purified by affinity
chromatography and then biotinylated. |
| Applications |
ELISA:
To detect hOPG by direct ELISA (using 100 μl/well antibody solution) this
antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.15-0.30 μg/mL. Used in
conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, it allows the detection of
at least 0.2 ng/well of recombinant hOPG.
Western Blot:
To detect hOPG by Western Blot analysis, this antibody can be used at a
concentration of 0.1-0.2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible
secondary reagents, the detection limit for recombinant hOPG is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane
under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. |
