Alkaline phosphatase substrates are
widely used in applications including ELISAs (Meth. Mol. Biol. 32,
461(1994)), immonuhistochemistry ( J. Clin. Microbiol. 19, 230(1984)),
and Northern, Southern and Western blot techniques. Our indolyl type
substrates yield brightly colored precipitating dyes that are easily
detected, while our coumarin- or fluorescein-based fluorogenic substrates
offer superior sensitivity.
